Siobhan Howerton
A self-taught designer, photographer, and brand strategist with over 20 years of hands-on experience building at the intersection of storytelling and strategy.
She started building websites in 2004, in high school, before most people had language for what she was doing. By 2005, she was teaching herself Adobe Photoshop. By 2007, she was formalizing that foundation through Adobe coursework. At North Carolina A&T State University, photography evolved from a creative outlet into a full professional discipline.
The story, in her own words:
“I spent years trying to find my way — second-guessing myself, treating every
trial and every wrong turn like proof I wasn’t ready. It wasn’t failure.
It was formation.
Every venture, every pivot, every restart was building the discernment, the empathy,
and the clarity I now bring to this work. I know what it feels like to have something
real inside you and not yet have the language — or the confidence — to show it.
That’s exactly who I built IMS for.
I’m not launching from a place of proven success. I’m launching on faith — because
I finally understand that the preparation was the point. And now it’s time to help
others shine.”
